Marcel Tolkowsky authored a magnificent book in 1919 titled Diamond Design, wherein he empirically details his scientific research to physically and mathematically explain the best shape for a diamond to refract the maximum amount of "life" and "fire". Tolkowsky concludes (pg.103-104) that, "...in the present day well-cut brilliant, perfection is practically reached: the high-class brilliant is cut as near the theoretic values as is possible in practice, and gives a magnificent brilliant to the diamond. That some new shape will be evolved which will cause even greater fire and life than the brilliant is, of course, always possible, but it appears very doubtful, and it seems likely that the brilliant Will be supreme for, at any rate, a long time yet."
Decades later, a group of scientists developed a tools to analyze light return, light leakages and optical symmetry. The scientists made small improvements to the round brilliant diamond along the way and discovered something amazing, The Hearts and Arrows pattern. https://www.heartsandarrows.com/ha-site/history-hearts-arrows-ideal-cut-diamonds-revolutionaries.aspx
On the homepage https://www.heartsandarrows.com/ha-site/ , the author's state; "Hearts and Arrows Diamonds are cut to ideal proportions with superior optical symmetry and a specific faceting pattern. When all these factors are in harmony the result is a repeatable, near perfect pattern of eight symmetrical arrows in the face up position and eight symmetrical hearts when viewed in the table down position."
-Diamond is adamantine, or unbreakable/invincible.
-The hardest, natural object known to man.
-The diamond also represents man’s pride/unwillingness to change in the Holy Bible.
-Represents God and His nature
-Signifies God's righteous judgment
9Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: 10And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart. 11But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear. 12Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts. (Zechariah 7:9-12 KJV)
7But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted. 8Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads. 9As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. (Ezekiel 3:7-9 KJV)
“The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars;” (Jeremiah 17:1 KJV)
The arrows represent God's righteous judgement/wrath. God's wrath abides on the ungodly and unrighteousness of men.
“Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.” (Psalms 18:14 KJV)
“He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow. He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.”(Lamentations 3:12-13 KJV)
“Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the LORD.” (Jeremiah 50:14 KJV)
“Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.”(Psalms 58:7 KJV)
“If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.” (Psalms 7:12 KJV)
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” ( John 3:36 KJV)
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;” (Romans 1:18 KJV)
As one views the diamond from the face-up position, or the top view, the arrows will be visible and are white in this image. The purple color was added as contrast, to aid the viewer. Scroll below for video.
The hearts represent God's mercy, grace, and love. The scriptures below describe that God is love, that He loved us first, and that He has a heart.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 KJV)
"He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." (1st John 4:8 KJV)
"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." (1st John 4:16 KJV)
“We love him, because he first loved us.” (1st John 4:19 KJV)
"And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done." (Genesis 8:21 KJV)
"Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul." (Jeremiah 32:4 KJV)
"And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication,
that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually." (First Kings 9:3 KJV)
"For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually." (Second Chronicles 7:16 KJV)
"But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee." (First Samuel 13:14 KJV)
"And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will." (Acts 13:22 KJV)
As one views the diamond from the face-down position, aka the pavilion, or the back, the hearts will be visible and are white in this image. The purple color was added as contrast, to aid the viewer. Scroll below for video.

According to scripture, God's judgement/wrath FACES US as sinners. Notice that the arrows, are on the FACE of the diamond. The arrows FACE US as we wear and view the diamond in the FACE UP position. IT IS ONLY UNTIL WE TURN THE DIAMOND to the backside that we see the HEARTS, which represent God's mercy, grace, and love.
“Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.” (Psalms 106:23 KJV)
“Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.” (2nd Chronicles 29:10 KJV)
“Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.” (2nd Chronicles 30:8 KJV)
“Give heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me. Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for them, and to turn away thy wrath from them.” (Jeremiah 18:19-20 KJV)
“If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.” (Psalms 7:12 KJV)
(17) “And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
(18) And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
(19) And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
(20) And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
(21) And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
(22) And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
(23) And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.”
(Exodus 33:17-23 KJV)
Moses could not see God's face and live, neither any man. However, God shows Moses His glory and grace, and Moses is able to see the BACK parts of God. When faceted in their optimal shape and symmetry, diamonds exhibit the Hearts and Arrows which are according to God's nature, which is illustrated in this passage in the book of Exodus. There are also further characteristics of diamond that also corroborate who God is and man's nature, but that will have to be for another day.
-Lucas Fassari
(9) “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (11) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (12) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9-13) One must repent, or turn away from, their sin, and through faith, believe in your heart on the Lord Jesus Christ.
