In 2014 I walked into the Jewelry Trade Center in Thailand, where I became immediately fascinated by all of the diverse colors and shapes of gemstones and minerals. When I arrived back at my hotel, after hours of walking, I began to search online for a school that could educate me about these amazing geometric objects, which is when I discovered the Gemological Institute of America®. Within two weeks, I came back to the United States and I attended the Graduate Gemologist® on-campus Program at GIA® in Carlsbad, CA. In May of 2015, I graduated with my diploma/certificate from the Graduate Gemologist® Program in May of 2015, which included both the diamond and colored stone programs from the GIA®.
After graduation, I was fascinated with inclusions and began photomicrography, which is the area where most of my research begun. Over the years, I traveled to about 18 countries where I discovered an entirely different outlook on gems and minerals. I observed that, these geometrically shaped objects, with all of their unique characteristics, could not have come by mere chance. After further investigation, I embarked on a journey where God ultimately lead me to understand His design, and incomparable intelligence of His wondrous creations.
